I am a wedding artist based in Denver, CO - photography is my craft. My work is so much more meaningful to me than simply documenting an event - I bear witness to the incredible love of couples, families, and friends. I'm a visual storyteller and a facilitator of genuine connection. When I am not photographing love stories, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling. I particularly enjoy doing all three at the same time! I especially love photographing intimate soirées and splendid outdoor weddings with a whimsical flair. Mountain weddings are my favorite! Another love of mine you should know about is that I spend time photographing social documentary stories and meaningful work of non-profit organizations both in the US and internationally.
I love photography. I love the art, the process, and the outcome. I love making fairly mundane moments into something beautiful I love capturing people in natural moments of connection and happiness. I love creating honest, straight-forward images that are timeless and won't look dated in years to come. I truly love to photograph the love, beauty and magic that is a wedding day. To create the look and feeling that I love, I use mostly film because of it's organic, soft and natural true-color qualities. The timeless nature of film is perfectly suited to capturing love: creating honest, meaningful images that will be looked at again and again over the years. But most importantly, I would love to meet you, hear your story, and create something beautiful together.
